Terms of Service

By booking a cleaning service with Ismela Cleaning Services ("we", "us", "our") you agree to the following terms.
1. Services
We provide residential and commercial cleaning services in Ottawa and surrounding areas. The scope of each visit is described in your quote. Additional work outside the quoted scope requires separate approval and may affect the final price.
2. Quotes & pricing
Online estimates are indicative. A final price is confirmed within 24 hours of your request based on your home's size, condition, and frequency of service. All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
3. Booking, rescheduling & cancellations
- Confirmed appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee of up to 50% of the visit price.
- Same-day cancellations or no-access visits may be charged in full.
4. 100% satisfaction guarantee
If any area of your home is not cleaned to your satisfaction, contact us within 24 hours of the visit and we will return to re-clean the affected area at no extra charge. Refunds are not offered in lieu of a re-clean.
5. Access & safety
You are responsible for providing safe access to your property (keys, codes, or being present). Please secure valuables, fragile items, and pets. We reserve the right to decline service in conditions that pose a safety risk to our team.
6. Liability
We are fully insured and bonded. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our team, notify us within 48 hours and we will work with you and our insurer to resolve the matter fairly. Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of the affected visit.
7. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of each visit unless otherwise agreed. We accept e-Transfer, credit card, and other methods listed on your invoice.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that service.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
